The move is confirmed by the person who moves the goods.
A scanner, locations, short operations. We set up Odoo so stock changes when the pallet moves, not in a spreadsheet that evening.
Without a scan
The move is typed in later. In between, nobody knows what is really in stock.
With a scan
Receipt, transfer, picking and inventory are confirmed on the spot. The gap shows up immediately.
